- What is? A Prioritized list of features in a game that acts as foundation for the rest of production documentation
- A feature, with details of how it works and how it interacts with the player, example:
- The hook harpoon allows the player to reel in and scraps the object, scrapping the object, turns it into flotable scrap, the flotable scrap can be pickep up by floating near it, which can be used in crafting and in the warp gate. Releasing allows the player to launch the hooked object into object or enemy ships.
- This example refers to other features, such as crafting and the warp gate, these would also be needed to be defined on the product backlog and prioratized, the second example would be a player story, such as:
- As the player I need some scrap, I hook an asteroid, pivot the ship towards an enemy ship and launch the asteroid, destroying it and turning it into scrap, then float over and pick it up
